You can find out here how to spot periods of high demand, what equipment to bring for winter driving in the mountains, why Travelski must know all participants, and where to find out about nursery services.
Finding school holiday dates
To find out the dates of school holidays, consult the government website or any other official website providing these dates in France, Europe or worldwide. This information helps you plan your bookings more effectively, taking into account periods of high demand.
Bringing the mandatory winter equipment
It is strongly recommended that you bring snow chains or snow socks for winter mountain holidays.
Important: in accordance with the Montagne II law, which came into force in November 2021, the use of removable anti-skid devices or winter tyres is mandatory when driving in certain mountainous areas between 1 November and 31 March.
Declaring all participants
For insurance purposes, Travelski and its local service providers must know the identity of all participants on the trip. This information may only be shared with partners (accommodation providers, ski lift operators, sports shops). You can therefore provide this information with complete confidence.
Finding out about childcare services
For nursery services, the arrangements vary by resort. Consult the official website of your destination resort directly, where you will find all the information regarding this specific service.
