The air you breathe in your home is often more polluted than the air outside! For DIY projects, choose products that can be rinsed with water. Also beware of air fresheners (candles, incense, etc.), which release Volatile Organic Compounds (VOCs) into the air that are harmful to health. To live well in your home, we recommend airing out all the rooms for a few minutes each day.
When you install a new piece of furniture, air out the room regularly. Do the same with dry-cleaned clothes. Before putting them away, start by airing them out.
The green tip
Household products:
By choosing natural detergents such as white vinegar, which is excellent for removing limescale, or black soap, which can be used to clean floors, you avoid using polluting products and, with equal performance, they are cheaper to buy.
Prefer reusable cloths or mops to wipes, which cannot be recycled and considerably increase the volume of household waste.
