How to pay?

Updated on November 2, 2026

To make your payment easier, there are several ways to make it:

  • By direct debit, the solution to avoid missing a payment!

  • By bank transfer or postal order,

  • By credit card directly on the Paris Habitat website by clicking “I’m a tenant” and then “Access my account”

These three payment methods are the most convenient, but you can also pay:

  • By SEPA interbank payment order or by cheque, which must be sent directly to the processing centre.

Warning : If you pay by TIP, remember to attach your bank details (RIB) if your bank details are not provided on it. If you pay by cheque, also attach the TIP without signing it, or write your tenant reference number shown on your payment notice (xxxxxx/xx) on the back of the cheque.

  • By EFICASH, using the barcode shown on your payment notice, EFFICASH allows you to pay in cash at any post office for €3.60 (Paris Habitat covers the difference)

GOOD TO KNOW

The change in your charges is directly linked to changes in energy and service prices, as well as to your cold or hot water consumption.
