Travelling with babies, children or a group
Babies and children under 2 can share a couchette with their parent, at the parent's own risk. They do not need to book an additional couchette.
The train has a nursery area for changing babies, but there is no cot or other equipment on board.
When couchettes are booked for adults and minors, the allocation ensures that minors will always be in the same compartment as an adult (within the limit of a compartment's capacity).
Important: buying 6 standard or 4 standard plus couchettes absolutely does not guarantee having a private compartment. The couchettes may be allocated in different compartments and carriages depending on the train's filling needs. Only the selection of a private compartment guarantees that travellers will be together.
