This page is dedicated to showcasing the greening initiatives carried out at Paris Habitat residences. Through all these initiatives, we support the vision of a carbon-neutral city and the gradual return of nature to the city for the benefit of residents’ quality of life.

Green Thumb
The “Green Thumb” initiative enables everyone to garden close to home. If you have a project, take advantage of this simple and free scheme to submit a permit application efficiently. With your neighbours, colleagues or family, Green Thumb is made for you and gives you access to all the support you need from Paris Habitat to cultivate nature in the city.
How can you propose your project?
Free and easy to join, all you have to do to participate in the Green Thumb scheme is fill out the available form.
Are you wondering about the nature of your project?
Which plant species are best suited to my project? Is a green wall difficult to maintain? How can I grow a fruit tree in a planter?
No problem, the Paris Habitat teams will guide you. You will be able to take part in meetings to discuss your wishes and ideas and get help developing them.
Do you need water for your project?
You have free access to the entire network of Paris fountains. You can also make arrangements with the businesses near your site for them to supply you with water to meet the needs of your plants.
